In 2021 Martin Heat and Air replaced the HVAC at our beachfront condo, involving an in-condo air handler and a rooftop compressor, and recently handled a problem with the unit. A few things stand out. First, their prices for a unit designed to withstand the salt air were competitive. They were the only company able to get the compressor atop the 7-story building without hiring a crane. They completed the work by the date promised. Unlike some of the other condo units, the compressor was mounted on a new, secure rooftop frame. Some compressors were blown over in a recent hurricane, but ours was not. The complex setup of the wifi/Alexa thermostat was done properly. The work was done cleanly. In the recent no heat service call, the 2 service people were on time, professional, competent, and incredibly pleasant and polite (kudos to Edgar and Rich). And finally, Martin was selected to disconnect and reconnect all of the condo unit's compressors during a recent roof replacement early in the season. The roof replacement contractor thoughtlessly hacked off all of the electrical and refrigerant connections, and Martin had to set things right in a short period of time, as some condo units were already being rented. They did.
The company responded quickly when I needed a quote and then they scheduled something the very next day. The technician was on time and handled everything immediately.
Martin H&A are very nice, personal and professional. Quoted a time frame and were there when promised. Diagnosed issue quickly and took care of business. Worth a call when in heating or air need.
